From the front lines

Molly and I returned from nido del aguila, Eagle’s Nest Children’s home, about 2 weeks ago. the website below should have a few pictures with descriptions:

Larry Boggs said he was tentatively planning on 2 probable things and 2 possible things for our team to do:

  1. laying cinderblock for various construction projects there
  2. painting, I believe outdoors.

the other projects were possible:

  1. He took me to a very poor rural gradeschool in the hills east of Solala. they could use some minor construction things done, such as redoing a bathroom which doesn’t exactly work and may need some pipes dug up; and the kids could benefit from any attention and short term teaching. Some of the pictures from the school are included.
  2. if our team has the proper set of skills, work could be begun on the roof of the football (soccer) field.
