Good News… Bad News…
Good News: I got to talk to my wife tonight!
Bad News: It costs $1 per minute to talk from here to there!
Good News: Most of them had a good day today.
Bad News: Some of them didn’t (see Dr. Ray’s previous post - and yes, Pastor Dave was one of the stricken ones, along with my two kids and others)
Good News: Christie has a new post to put up.
Bad News: Their internet connection is down.
I didn’t get to talk to Christie for very long - neither one of us could stomach spending $1/minute. She mainly wanted me to post this update so that parents wouldn’t worry too terribly much when the expected updates don’t arrive. Everyone down there is doing o.k. (some better than others), and the blog posts will resume as soon as their internet connection is restored.

Thanks Michael for keeping us updated on behalf of Christie and the Guatemalan Gang!
Thanks for the update. We are praying for all you guys. Hope everyone feels better soon!
Hello everyone! We are praying for you. How is Ethan’s nose?
We are praying for healed tummies, renewed energy and enthusiasm ! Glad to hear that most are recovering quickly. It’s evident that God is allowing for a lot of ministering to one another as well as others. I hope all of the recovering folks all have that thankful, burst of energy one often gets after an illness is over and you feel so thankful to feel good again. Keep on keeping on. p.s. tell Bill Ray that I was considering showing my gratitude to him (for his doctoring of all of our ill children/spouses/etc) by gifting my Green Bay Packer scrubs the family gave me (that are too long) to him, but after his “low point” of the day today, I’m just not sure they’d be fully appreciated.
